Photo of the Week 5 – Split

A view over the 1,700 years old town of Split in Croatia. Centered around the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Diocletian Palace from the 3rd century, this is a very touristy city on the Adriatic Sea. This picture was taken from the Marjan hill near the town center.

Location: Split, Croatia

    • I was in Dubrovnik for only one day and I remember it being much bigger than Split, at least the center of the city where the tourists are is bigger. In Split everything revolves around the old Roman palace and because of its port it’s a stop for many travelers that are visiting the nearby islands of Hvar, Korcula and Brac, which are beautiful. I hope I answered your question 🙂
Thanks for stopping by our blog 🙂
